The presence of ICT in education allows for new ways of learning for students and teachers. E-learning or online learning is becoming increasingly popular and with various unprecedented events taking place in our lives, this does not only open opportunities for schools to ensure that students have access to curriculum materials whilst in the classroom but also allows them to ensure students outside the classroom such as at home or even in hospitals can learn.
ReplyDeleteICT is the way forward for transmitting information. It is ICT which came to our rescue during the pandemic when schools were closed. Online teaching helped the students to continue with their academic enrichment and holistic development, Sharing PPTs, videos, links of various websites through Whatsapp, Messenger, Zoom or Google classroom helped in keeping the lines of communication open. Their feedback and other digital projects they shared helped to keep the interest of the students alive and enhance their creativity.
DeleteI use Google Classroom, Google Forms, Google Meet, Google Chrome, WhatsApp, etc for teaching-learning process. They help a great deal in teaching the concepts and assessing the learning outcomes.
DeleteDOLI CHAUDHURI: ICT helps me to interact with students and also carry on with synchronous and asynchronous teaching learning, more so in the present COVID scenario. Assessment and analysis is also easily done with the help of ICT.

through ICT the learning material and learning experiences can be provided to the children during the tough times like covid-19.

ReplyDeleteICT helped me to prepare teaching learning material, store and share it with colleagues and students . Student`s real time response and feedback was collected. Student`s Assignments were evaluated and grades were given using ICT tools.

During this pandemic use of ICT in teaching learning realy helped a lot. Using Google forms and other assessment tools made the assessment live ,interesting and joyfully. Students immediately gate the feedback, score etc after exam.

Students raise their problems and topic related doubts and do comment.I experienced this when I took live classes in the beginning of covid at kvsrodelhilive channel on u tube where many students use to discuss their problems through chat box and afterwards.
Which motivated me as well students from all parts of the country.Really it was quite challenging and exciting activity for me.

ICT has become the necessity in today's context for imparting education to the students in an effective manner.It helps the students understand the topic more easily when it is presented to them in visual form as they can co-relate with what they read and what they see visually.

ReplyDeleteThe learning material can be shared with students for eg notes, other reference material, past papers, solutions for a test conducted using email or in google classroom.
The explanatory videos can be shared with students. Doubt clearance sessions can be organised in google meet or even whatsapp can be used for it.

Thanks to ICT so many activities which were being carried out during the offline mode are now taking place online. Like I am preparing quizzes galore through some software or the other and providing the links to the students so that they can open the quiz through any device they possess solve and assess their performance and learning. I believe during the offline days it was not possible to provide exercises in such huge number for the learning of any subject. Online live classes could be conducted and materials could have been shared the responses/feedback of the children could have been checked regularly. In today's world that is defined along the lines of technological advancements it is impossible for a teacher not to to come under its sway. To stay afloat on the ocean of ubiquitous technology ICT is our life boat. In a class room it helps the teacher connect with his/her learners in an engaging manner. Especially at the backdrop of the Covid 19 pandemic when children are not going to schools ICT helps the schools go to them. Yes, ICT takes the school to the learners' homes and their private rooms. ICT helps in this sort of a personalized and individualized variety of education. A teacher appearing on the mobile/computer screen of his learner becomes his personal tutor. That is the magic of ICT.

It helped me to prepare teaching learning material, store and share it with colleagues and students . Student`s real time response and feedback was collected. Student`s Assignments were evaluated and grades were given using ICT tools.
ReplyDeleteICT is the best way for transmitting information. It helped immensely during the pandemic when schools were closed & there seemed no other way out. Switching over to Online teaching helped the students to continue with their academic enrichment and holistic development, Sharing PPTs, videos, links of various websites through Whatsapp, Messenger, Zoom or Google classroom helped in keeping the lines of communication open. Their feedback and other digital projects they shared helped to keep the interest of the students alive and enhance their creativity. It was great as parents could also connect with the teachers directly as some hesitate to come to school for PTMs citing lack of time.

Therefore, the variety of teaching-learning resources and local environment of the child play an important role in shaping the learning experience of a child. That is why experiences designed within and outside the classroom must include a variety of learning resources to ensure a multisensory approach. We also need to ensure the grooming of every child into a self-learner who is independent, critical, and creative and a problem solver.
