    2. All the electronic gadgets were made use of for the teaching learning process. The students were contacted through WhatsApp and informed to join through the platform of zoom app. Then, G Suite platform is used to take classes. Study materials are posted in google classroom. Assignments are given using google form. Screen is shared with the students as some of them do not have access to hard copy of text books. PPTs are extensively used to make learning by the students easier.

    3. Same strategy should not be applied to one and all. Diverse techniques for diverse chidlren should be planned to cater to their needs. One who is good at language may be given focus on languages. Those good at Mathematics may be encouraged to do exceptionally well in Mathematics. Proper opportunities should be created and given to them to bring to limelight their inherent talent and hone their skills further.

    4. During the pandemic students have been contacted telephonically, via Whatsapp, Zoom Classes and Gsuite where meetings are held via Google meet and assignments given in Google Classroom. It is a continuous process to keep the interest of the children alive, to keep the spark burning and so PPTS, Videos are constantly shared, quizzes conducted and children are themselves encouraged to make PPTs, Short quizzes etc. and share during Online class

    1. Emphasis on audio-visual content rather than plain speaking.

  27. though the pandemic presented many challenges, the various online platforms came in as rescue and helped bonding with the students, discussing their problems and issues and providing them support materials. the technique of teaching too has undergone a lot of changes from pen to jam-board and lectures to screen sharing. it was also important to constantly keep in touch with them as well as regularly assess and monitor them over the online mediums available.

Lessons were transacted inviting students to join the classes using ppts,Videos,assignment sheets,through one to one interaction. Activities and practical classes using Olabs were also conducted.Teaching assessment copy correction feedback all were conducted online ensuring that no one is left. It become difficult in the starting but slowly the training given by the KVS helped a lot. there are lot of challenges in the starting as the online teaching.     During the on-going pandemic situation, being a teacher I cannot leave my students alone in the hands of fate.
    I am in touch with all my students through on-line mode of teaching which has lead to many beautiful experiences. I too while teaching, learnt so many ways through which classes can be conducted in on-line mode and in an interesting way like through google classroom, google meet, jam board (for explaining and drawings), using ppt by sharing screen, making the screen bigger which appears just as I am teaching in my class only. One to one interaction with the students is possible.
    In the on-line mode there are so many materials available on a particular topic which can be shared with the students.

To Stay connected with the students many media were used. for online classes gmeet was used. live classes could be conducted and proper monitoring of written work were possible in google classroom. All celebrations could also be done in virtual mode. It was ensured that all children had devices and connectivity. Parents were kept informed of the student progress through Whatsapp group for each class.
    As the teaching had to be online, all efforts were taken to finetune the necessary technological skills required. Preparation of presentations, audio and video lesson making was also undertaken. online tools for assessment were also used. The mental well being of the students were also ensured. motivational and emotional support were also given to children

Google class room was used to assign assignment/papers and to assess the performance of students various MCQ in google form, short question answers and other assignments in pdf form were sent to children.   42. 1.Firstly I contacted to the all parents and asked their Whatsapp number. Formed the group and invited them for ppt, assignment and other important message.
    2. Students are invited through Google classroom through gsuite id provided by Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office , Kolkata.
    3 ICT classes conducted effectively. Students are more benefitted with these ICT classes.
    4. Some of the students faced internet problem and electronic devices to attend online classes which has been sorted out effectively.

But both were one way communication. Later I became familiar and confortable in G meet and started taking online classes through G meet. Conducted online classes during covid run by KVS RO Delhi for class 9th and 10th .Initially it wad a challenge but when moved in found really exciting and confidence maker.Classes were taken through whiteboard.More than 14000 thousand students viewed my first online class.This response was never ever expected by me.But yes I could make it and from that day only I never saw aback.The name of the u tube channel was kvsrodelhilive1 and kvsrodelhilive 2.Today I am using pentab laptop and other possible and available resources during teaching learning process. Initially to teach and make contacts with students WhatsApp was being frequently used.Made Audios for all possible topics for classes 10 ,11 and 12.A great response was received from student's end.Now KVS provided us a very nice application i.e GOOGLE CLASSROOM where ever student has been provided with their g-suite ID and they are supposed to join the online classes with this ID only.To make the Teaching Learning process more meaningful and need-based various applications and ICT techniques are being used and Study materials are posted in google classroom. For Assignments like quizzes,worksheets Google forms.PPTs and other resource material are being presented through screen share.

  71. During the pandemic, online classes were conducted via Google meet and google classroom, as KVS G-suite ID for the students which make it possible. I introduced various audio-visual aids in my teaching for example: some videos of the topics were shown to the students for their better understanding of the topic using Screen Share option in Google meet app. Being a science teacher some experiments like sedimentation and decantation were conducted using online live classes, for making the class more interesting and also for the better understanding of the students. Assignments and study materials were shared using Google classroom.

  79. In the Covid 19 Pandemic time We the KVS Delhi region is the Pioneer in Online education,as we had started Teaching through Facebook Video lectures live in the Classroom . It was really a boon to our KV students all over India. Really Everything was new at that time in the Lockdwn period using limited resources. Really Online Teaching is a great challenge for all . In the initial period we even made so many recordings of different contents and sent the same through Whatsaap and communicated through Whatsaap. Later we got Google classroms as the Platform for transaction . Now we are blessed with a lot of new tools for onlne transactions.

I started from whatsapp video calls and used to teach in batches of 6 to 7 student but it was not convenient so i shifted to google due and so on shifting from one platform to another for better teaching learning experience. in last i found google meet and google classroom which provide me lots of features. because of screen sharing facility in google meet i was able to show program execution to my student and able to teach them programming.

In the initial stages of lock down, conducted online classes and prepared videos of me explaining the concepts, examples/Problems based on concepts of Matrices and determinants and forwarded to students. Took class in form of ppt and used my screen and wrote derivation and solved numericals for which i used stylus pen. All classes were made interactive and videos of all classes were uploaded in YouTube and link was shared with students. Activity videos also were shared. Used all platforms provided by KVS for effective teaching. Using google form quiz type questions conducted. Descriptive type also was evaluated online.

  109. In a raging pandemic situation, where everything is almost completely virtual, to encourage and enhance the skill of learners, different methods were applied. Students were contacted through whatsapp, Google meet and other such online platforms to make sure they don't miss out on learning. Also, weekly report were sent to parents about their Ward's progress and were specifically targeted so that their role as a parent and a guide was highlighted. Steps were also taken to ensure they learn and don't feel much difference between the new normal i.e online learning and the traditional classroom learning method. Other steps, as of now are under consideration so every student during this pandemic time don't feel they're losing out on time, learning and information.

  111. In the beginning it was slightly difficult to get to the students, due to lack of adequate devices like laptop ,mobiles. Then through Whatsapp messages were conveyed to parents and students, slowly classes were taken through the Google meet platform. Quizzes were taken and are taken through google forms. Assignments are collected in Google class rooms and written tests are also taken. Corrections are being done using Kami app. Live interactive sessions are being conducted through the video mode in google meet.

Now it is easy to deliver the content to students in easy way. I learn how to record video lessons, how to upload these videos on youtube and how to provide the link of these videos to students. Online classes itself is a major change which was introduced because of COVID. Shifting classes from real to a virtual classroom is a major challenge as I was not fully aware of all the technical knowledge required for setting up an online class. Still I have managed to learn to create youtube videos, google classroom, google forms and quizzes. Teaching construction online through mathspad and doing maths activities using Geogebra makes the teaching learning process interesting.

  156. Contacting students during COVID-19 was done with a fear of any possible misfortune with the students, in mind. Relying on smart phones/Laptop/desktops/tabs was the only way out. Venturing outdoor was risky and forbidden by the authorities. Help from peers was also taken.
    Change in Teaching strategy- More illustrations had to be included. Screen sharing became inevitable. Short answer questions had to be given as assignments, so that the students can mail the answers for evaluation. A very, very soft, supportive approach of teaching was adopted. Frequent counselling and moral boosting was done. Students' limitations were humbly accepted.

One who is good at language may be given focus on languages. Those good at Mathematics may be encouraged to do exceptionally well in Mathematics.   163. Based on the situations, strategies were changed. First and foremost method for simple messages was WhatsApp / telephonic conversation only. For connecting to the students, we had to resort to MS Teams/G Suite, WhatsApp, email, Google Meet, Zoom, LifeSize apps. Then to transact curriculum, we used the Lecture method, presentation of PPTs, Video Lectures, sharing of Book Pages and using writing pads, jamboard and whiteboards etc. The students also responded through these medium only.

  167. During Covid-19 our school purchsed a domain name & registered for "Gsuite for Education" account. In Gsuite we created the accounts for all the teachers & students for Google Classrooms & Google Meet as it is a secured way to teach to students by using Google Meet in Google Classrooms. All the notes & teaching materials uploaded in Google Classroom, Assessment of students also done in Google Classrooms by using Google Forms & centralized monitor by the Principal.
    As a Computer Science Teacher I am using Google Colab for Python for programming practice.

  170. During pandemic, it was a challenge to connect with students and to teach them so that they may continue to study at home. Firstly, all students were contacted through the mobile numbers which were available with the vidyalaya. Students were given videos already available on youtube and other platforms through whatsapp and students were instructed to listen to videos and try to understand the content and then activities were sent to them to complete. Later on some platforms were made available to start online learning which were used and the students also started to take interest in online learning. It was not thought ever that teaching can be done through this way, but pandemic compelled to think of different way to teach. Now, it is easy to teach through online mode and students have been enjoying it.

We started the online classes in first week of April . before that all the parents were added through WhatsApp group.Teaching took place through G suite classrooms, zoom, what's app, Google meet as per the availability of mobiles and network with the students.mandatory PTMs were ensured fortnightly to tell parents about online progress of the children.every Saturday being celebrated as funday to refresh the minds and various co-curricular activities were conducted online.being head I ensured to call daily atleast two parents and students to for knowing about their well being .
