Steps to be followed:
Think back to your teenage years when you tried things your friends deemed cool,
ReplyDeleteNever did such negative things rather I was positive towards life and involved myself in cocurricular activities along with my timely studies.
DeleteMy parents kept a tab on us and because we were very active during our leisure time, playing, cycling or reading books, I never really did anything negative under peer pressure. Nowadays it is different due to media exposure and advancement in technology, too many things(gadgets, apps etc) too soon are the reason why children indulge in negative activities. Besides parents are busy too. So, parents need to be alert and keep the line of communication open with children
DeleteI didn't do any thing like that. It is not because my parents were very strict and I was afraid of being punished. But it was because I never felt the need to do anything like that. When I was a teenager, my dad told me that if I ever felt the curiosity to smoke then I must confide in him and then we would do it together. My parents got me a book about human sexuality. It was a book about the human body and it had a chapter on human sexuality with colourful pictures. My parents were and are great. They brought me up in the right way and therefore I never felt the need to succumb to negative peer pressure.
DeleteIn my teenage i always believed that there is nothing in the world that i am not able to do.i always thought of me to be the richest person in the world. There was no negativity around me as i belong to a family in which people have sacrificed life just to save others. My father lost his life while saving the life of 300 people.i am always proud to have such a teenage life full of patriotism.Jai Hind.
ReplyDeletein my teenage days i too bacame a victim of negative peer pressure and i still remember how we used to catch hold of weaker children and would try to prove ourselves cool.
DeleteGoing to my teenage I think I was feeling alone. Nobody was with me except my friends. They were all for me. As time went on I realized I was wrong.
DeleteThink back to my teenage years, I don't have those type of friends who steals money, taking drugs or smoking. That time I am way far from those bad habits because I always knew since my childhood that stealing is a shine, taking drugs and smoking is injurious to health. So I always keep distance from such friends.
