ReplyDelete‘Ganitha Kalika Andolana (GKA)’, Karnataka. I belong to Karnataka. Here, the State Government has initiated 'Ganitha Kalika Andolana' (GKA)–a mathematics learning movement program. Usually most of the students especially girls consider math as a difficult subject. To defy this impression among the youngsters and create interest towards learning of math, this program is initiated. It aims to improve numeracy skills and facilitate classroom teaching of Mathematics among students in Government primary schools. Math Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs)e TLMs are designed to facilitate learning of competencies prescribed in the Karnataka State curriculum. To measure the learning outcomes, assessment of children is being done using an Android-based application on a tablet.

Staff meetings and webinars are also conducted time to time.
Under Fit India, walk/run program was conducted (15th August to 2nd Oct' 21) to make the children physically active and fit.

Usually most of the students especially Village students consider speaking and writting english are very less But now the state government introduced english medium in rura areas also. To measure the learning outcomes, assessment of children is being done using an Android-based application on a tablet and free tablets were given to many children.

Mohalla class was carried out in our state. Children were ask to come and join the class. Children enjoyed it and learned alot.

In Jharkhand, e-Vidyavahini is the innovative practices which are being implemented. It is a composite digital platform that can be used to monitor the education system in the state.

Regular online classes using different platforms especially G-suite enabled every student to attend all classes. Meticulous planning of the daily time table was the key to success in teaching through online mode. Regular online PTM was conducted to involve the parents and update them of the effort and initiatives taken by the vidyalaya.
